The Client
Pannone LLP is a full-service law firm with over 300 specialist lawyers and a total staff of 620, based in Manchester. The firm provides a complete range of legal services for individuals, corporate and public-sector clients.
Pannone employs specialists in family law, accident and personal injury compensation, clinical negligence, employment, divorce, commercial litigation, business crime, e-commerce, IT and intellectual property, to name only a few.
The company had worked with a couple of SEO companies with little or no success before contracting I-COM. This left them at least 18 months behind their competitors in search-engine positioning.
The Brief
To generate maximum exposure for Pannone LLP through Google's organic search listings across all their specialties. Pannone LLP had no first page listings. Once successful, I-COM would build a new website and expand the online marketing to the full complement of I-COM services.
The Solution
Overcoming search-engine incompatibility issues was the main issue. Our Head Of Search Engine Optimisation, David Egerton, and his team, worked with Pannone to establish keywords and phrases. We then used these to develop a target set. Finally, we tuned the site to ensure optimum returns for the agreed keywords.
The Results
Within one month, Pannone had 153 first-place listings and 361 first-page listings in Google.com and Google.co.uk.
After three months, we had developed 123 non-geographic first-place listings and 394 first-page listings. You can see some of these at seomanchester.com.
After four month I-COM SEO had inceased visitors to Pannone.com by 308% and we received excellent feedback on results from Marketing Director Deborah Ascott-Jones.
These first-quarter results proved that I-COM could deliver, and we were contracted to provide web development for other Pannone LLP companies and internal projects.
Pannone LLP also commissioned I-COM to design and develop the new Pannone LLP website, which will soon be launched. I-COM now provides a full complement of online marketing services to Pannone LLP to increase brand and search exposure, including press releases and pay-per-click services.
